I first started bow shooting when I was young and I got hooked on it. I purchased my first bow back in 1984 and killed a forked horn buck that year, And I’ve been hooked on bow hunting ever since. I have harvested well over 20 deer with a bow. I also got pretty serious about elk hunting 15 years ago. I have so far only tipped over about 8 or so, a couple of them being pretty nice bulls. I shot my first competition shoot with fingers and fixed sights and took 1st place. Later I decided to switch over to a release, but didn’t think I was quiet ready to compete with it. About 4 years ago I went to a shoot and did not realize it was a competition. I ended up placing and that then started a whole new passion. I have now been competing ever since. I shot over 40 3D shoots in the year of 2010. I am looking forward to doing it again. I met Marco and the gang when I shot their winter indoor league. My team Servpro and I were lucky enough to win first place. From the very first time I walked into the store I felt very comfortable with him and his family. He is very blessed to have his daughter and son help him in the store. When he asked me if I would like to be apart of the pro staff I felt totally honored to be apart of the shop and his family. I shoot the Bowtech Invasion and can honestly say that I have never had a bow fit me better. I use back bars that help me not shake like the wind but I can hold the spot. I am really excited to attack the 3-D season with my new weapons.
